Focus on... Molo Kids Daisys Print

For our first review we've decided to look in a bit more detail at the Daisys print in the Molo Kids collection.

Daisys has been created for the Molo Kids Spring/Summer 2010 collection and the feedback we've had for it already has been fantastic. I clearly remember saying "Wow!" when I first saw the Daisy samples back in June 2009, it really was love at first sight.

This traffic-stopping print features big white daisies with yellow centres amongst green stems and grass on a sky blue background. If you look closely you'll also see little ladybirds dotted about on the daisies, and their little red wings make the print even brighter.

We chose a number of different designs in this print because we really think it's a stunner and will look simply beautiful on any little girl this summer.

The designs available from LittleSunflowers.com in the Daisys print include:

All of the Daisys designs are composed of 90% cotton and 10% elastane so they feel great on and have a bit of a stretch. We find this blend with elastane from Molo Kids always works really well for children with big heads as the necklines stretch wide and then pop straight back into place.

If you're not familiar with Molo Kids: this fabulous Danish brand was founded in 1999. Originally known as Vilmund, Molo was founded by Louise Frederiksen who was a graduate of the Danish Design School. Mogens Jepsen joined and headed up Molo Kids in 2002. Whilst Louise left the company a couple of seasons ago and started another company, Louie Louis in 2007, Molo Kids continue to produce their stunning prints in simple designs with a fun twist from their Østerbro base in Copenhagen. Their website is at http://www.molo-kids.com

We have stocked Molo Kids since 2006 and have 2 tough testers in our family aged 6 & almost 3, both boys. We can say from experience that Molo Kids washes and wears beautifully, copes with the roughest of play and is one of the best hand-me-downs we know. It is also a brand virtually guaranteed to prompt a "where did you get THAT?!" from strangers in the street... we know because it's happened to us!

So in short we think this Molo Daisys print is absolutely gorgeous - wouldn't you agree?
